Safety, Community Development targeted by State Farm grants

State Farm Insurance offers grants annually that could be a good fit for small towns in Oklahoma.

Safety Grants include several promising targets:

• roadway safety
• fire prevention
• disaster preparedness
• disaster recovery

Community Development Grants are perfect for many small town issues: 

• affordable housing
• first time homeowners
• community revitalization
• economic development

Applications are due by May 31, 2012, for funding during the first quarter of 2013.
